Your participation is very important to us, to be able to offer services that matter to you.
- 1. Be sure to check your junk mail folder for email invitation reminders and updates, sometimes our mail gets stuck in the spam bucket. If this is happening to you, right click on our email and move it to your in-box.
Now you are hooked up to exchange email messages with AMNSIS! Congratulations!
- 2. Do the Speed Test . Click here
This is a great way to find out about your internet connection.
If your DOWNLOAD speed is less than 12 Mbps, you will enjoy listening in to the meeting from your phone, please use the dial in number listed in our email to you.
If your DOWNLOAD speed is 12 Mbps or higher, click the meeting link and join from your home computer or laptop or tablet. You will be able to see and hear the presenters and panelists, as well as answer our polling questions, raise your hand, ask questions and give answers.
- 3. If you are going to be joining us from your computer, the event will open two hours ahead of time, come in early to set up.
A. Make sure all your tabs are closed and all software closed
B. Click the link for the event found in your email invite.
C. Download the extension for webex when prompted. (This will not hurt your computer or create a security risk for your system.)
D. Do a sound check. Make sure you select "Use computer audio", click on the audio controls at the lower centre of the screen.
- 4. Whether you attend by phone or computer, all attendees will be muted
(there could be up to 10 thousand of us in here, so we can't all have our mics on!)
As an attendee, your camera will not be sending us a video feed of your beautiful face, but we will be able to see that you are here, by the name you registered with.
- 5. If you have a question, please type it in the Q & A, we will try to answer as many as we can during the call, but if we don't get to you, we will email you a response after the event.
- 6. We thank you for answering our polling questions through the event, these will help us find out what is most important on everyone's mind, and help make sure we hit the mark with our efforts.
If we do a good job of connecting with you and taking in all the feedback here, we are more likely to be heard when we show up to do our representation work out there with feds, province, etc.
